Welcome to the General Clinic of Kozani, Zoodochos Pigi
The Kozani General Clinic Zoodochos Pigi nbsp;in Kozani has been the only private general clinic in Western Macedonia since 2003, providing modern medical services of the highest standard.
Founded in 1973 by orthopedic surgeon Orestis Konstantinidis with the aim of creating a model private clinic for Western Macedonia, the clinic was completely renovated in 2003 when it joined the Euromedica Group. Since June 2025, the clinic has been a member of the Imitheam Medcal Group.
The five-story building that houses the General Clinic of Kozani, Zoodochos Pigi, has departments staffed with highly specialized personnel who cover every need of the patient and equipped with state-of-the-art equipment.
The clinic has a capacity of 80 beds, collaborates with 100 doctors of all specialties, and employs 81 staff members, enabling it to provide virtually any type of medical service. 81 employees, enabling it to provide almost every type of medical service. In addition, the General Clinic of Kozani has developed 15 beds in the Artificial Kidney Unit, 2 General Surgery rooms, 2 Obstetric Surgery rooms, and Outpatient Clinics.

The Services
Regarding the “pillars” of the clinic, the pathology sector includes pathology, cardiology, and nephrology departments, while the surgical sector includes the surgical, orthopedic, urology, and ophthalmology departments.
At the same time, the Gynecology-Obstetrics department offers medical care and a personalized approach to each woman individually, as well as to newborn babies. The department has experienced and specialized medical and nursing staff, modern medical equipment, thus creating a feeling of safety and comfort for the women who visit it.
In addition, the renovated floor where the Gynecology-Obstetrics department operates is a jewel for the region, as it is in no way inferior to the corresponding departments in clinics in large urban centers.
Commitment to Quality
Another service of major importance provided by the General Clinic of Kozani Zoodochos Pigi is the Artificial Kidney Unit, with a capacity of 15 beds.
MTN is equipped with Baxter and Gambro machines, as well as automatic defibrillators and trained personnel in their use. Its modern equipment provides high-quality dialysis services (HD, on-line HDF), while monitoring the patient’s basic parameters (e.g., blood volume, arterial/renal pressure, heart rate) are monitored and treatment data is stored on the patient’s individual card.
The workshops and new additions
The clinic’s arsenal also includes diagnostic laboratories, providing important information that helps doctors make accurate diagnoses.
More specifically, the following workshops are available:
- The Biopathological Laboratory is open all week from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
- The digital Radiology Laboratory is open all week from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
- The Ultrasound Laboratory for cardiological, gynecological-obstetric, and other types of ultrasounds
At the same time, the clinic has upgraded its imaging department with the installation of a CT scanner and a digital mammography machine. It now accepts cases with EOPYY referrals.
In addition, the clinic has a fully equipped mobile emergency response unit and is constantly expanding its range of services by developing new departments and upgrading its medical and hotel equipment so that patients are guaranteed top-level medical services.
In this context, the Department of Pathological Oncology was created, with the ultimate goal of patients receiving all their treatments within the hospital premises. Pathology Oncology department was created, with the ultimate goal of providing patients with all their treatments within the clinic, putting an end to the inconvenience of traveling to Thessaloniki. In addition, the clinic has a new rheumatology and hematology department, while the creation of a dermatology and gastroenterology departments.
At the same time, the clinic has been certified with ISO 9001:2015 and with BSEN 15224: 2016 for its Quality Management System and Health Services, while it collaborates with EOPYY and all private insurance companies.
